A Grade 2 Listed church in Northumberland has had its heating system completely revamped with the help of a BoilerMag XL commercial heating system filter installed by Blaydon based Enright Environmental Ltd. Specialising in the design, installation and maintenance of heating and cooling systems for industrial and commercial buildings, Enright Environmental Ltd fitted the BoilerMag filter in the boiler plant room under St Cuthbert’s church in the town of Bedlington.
The church’s heating system was over 30 years old and in desperate need of an upgrade. Enright Environmental Ltd flushed the system out, including the radiators and underfloor heating, and then stripped the boiler room virtually clean, effectively starting from scratch. Some of the original pipework that remains is made from cast iron, adding to the charm of the old building.
Onsite installer and Enright Environmental Ltd heating engineer Adrian Mills said: “We always recommend that our customers install a magnetic filter. They are a vital part of a heating system, and we believe that they should be compulsory in new installations. We retrofit them too as they can prolong the life of older systems as well.
“We fitted the Boiler Mag XL on the return line to the new boilers. They are so easy to install and maintain; it’s easy to see the results and prove to the customer how effective they are. Although the BoilerMag has only just been installed on this system, through experience with other applications we expect nothing but positive results in the future.”
The BoilerMag XL commercial heating system filter is a cost effective option for heating efficiency and boiler protection in commercial, retail, or large residential properties.
Compatible with 1 1/2” fittings and pressures up to 12 bar, the BoilerMag XL is easy to install and maintain. Find out more at www.boilermag.com
